IVI - an Estonian synth pop singer and composer.The sound of IVI channels the sonic euphoria of the post-pandemic “future past”. Her shimmery pop escapism, hooky choruses and slick rhythms get in your head like electric dreams and her live performances trod the line between futuristic burlesque and a viral TikTok. Presented at the ESNS 2023 by Estonian public broadcaster Raadio 2, the young singer-songwriter from Estonian easternmost border town Narva attracted broader attention in 2021 with her song “Day x Night” which ended up as the channel’s most-played song of the year.
